Monique Spittel – 7/6/2012
Top Tier Elite played through the blazing heat to victory in the Blaze at the Beach Tournament in Wilmington, finishing their championship games with compelling scores of 13-1, 11-1. Elite scored 54 goals overall, a 10.8 goal per game average, while giving up less than 3 goals per game. The team remained undefeated while playing in the highest divisions of tournaments this summer.
Elite’s success rests upon a total team effort.
Congratulations to Lake Norman Charter attackman Chase Burton and close defender Truman Spittel for their hard work and dedication.
Additionally, congratulations to the efforts of midfielder Ross Murphy who played for Top Tier’s U-19 High School B team. This experience adds to the arsenal of skills he will bring to Charter this year.
